Lviv Catles "Golden Horseshoe" is a tourist route, which includes the three most popular castles in the region: Zolochiv, Pidhirtsi and Olesko. All of them were built in the middle of the 17th century.
Unfortunately, we arrived at the Olesko Castle rather late (at 6.40pm), it was already closed.

There is a legend that the White Lady`s ghost lives here. Even American TV show came to the castle to check this myth. They said that something terrible is really living in tunnels.
By the way, this place was used for the shooting of the legendary Russian film " The Three Musketeers".
The fort was built at the end of the 19th century by Russians to defend against the Austrians, but in fact was not actually used for these purposes.
