Ukraine #10. Buksky Canyon & Aleksandriya Park

At 8 o'clock in the morning we left Kiev by car, and at 10.30 we were already in Buki (Cherkasy region).

Here is the famous Buksky Canyon.

The road there is very beautiful, but without GRS you can get lost.

Here you can do rock climbing in natural conditions (there are special schools)

If you came by car and want to stay overnight, then you can come straight to the camping.

On the shore, you will see a passage through the stones across the river to an abandoned power station, and from there you can climb the stairs to the forest road.

The maximum time that you can spent there is 2 hours. Here you can have a bite of pies and vareniki, which are offered by local women for pennies.

From Buki we went to the Bila Tserkva to see the Alexandria arboretum. This park was founded in the 18th century, but, unfortunately, the original buildings were destroyed during the Second World War.

Please don`t attend the local WC. This is a real nightmare.
